My stay at Shutters On The Beach had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, and the room was overall lovely and cozy. However, I faced several issues, including a disappointing view despite paying a premium price, and there was a frustrating check-in experience that left me waiting far too long. Overall, it delivered some nice moments, but I think the hotel could improve on service consistency.

I recently stayed at Shutters On The Beach for a special occasion. The location is absolutely stunning-right by the beach and close to the Santa Monica Pier. The service was mostly friendly and accommodating, though I did encounter some hiccups during check-in that could have been smoother. The room I had was nice but felt a bit dated, and I wished the decor was more current. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, I had an enjoyable experience.
